The Morrison Brothers Band play a unique brand of country rock music that stems from the group's musical roots in New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Washington DC. Founded in 2007 by brothers Truman and Willie Morrison, the band's award-winning sound took form in their hometown of DC with the additions of brothers Matt and Kevin Nolan. The band is currently based out of Nashville and performing regularly in the Eastern, Southern, and Mid-Western U.S.

In the last few years, The Morrison Brothers Band has opened for Merle Haggard, Leon Russell, Frankie Ballard, Maggie Rose, Old Dominion and Big Smo, while sharing stages with many of the biggest acts in country music today from Tim McGraw and Alan Jackson to Alison Krauss. In 2014, with over 8,000 submissions worldwide, the band won country's 1st place prize in the "Unsigned Only" music competition for their song "Little Miss Whiskey" off the group's 3rd original full length album "State of the Union". They also wrote and recorded the new theme song for their hometown Washington Capitals, and the video can be seen on Comcast Sports prior to games.

The common thread amongst its members is that a great band with compelling original music needs no gimmicks; the music speaks for itself. Now with numerous songwriting awards and a relentless touring schedule, the group has proven itself to be a national contender with an ever expanding fan base and a very bright future.
